The Seventh Annual Meeting of the North American Black Fly Association (NABFA)

Greetings NABFA members, Friends and Colleagues,

This is to announce the Seventh Annual Meeting of the North American Black Fly Association (NABFA) and first call for papers and posters. We invite black fly enthusiasts, scientists, researchers and students to join and exchange ideas, information and camaraderie.

The meeting will be held at the Archbold Biological Station in Lake Placid, Florida US. (http://www.archbold-station.org/abs/index.htm).

Opening ceremonies will begin on Wednesday February 4 at 12:30 pm.  Depending on the number of speakers and presentations, the meeting should conclude early Friday afternoon on February 6th.  Please make note of this and schedule your travels accordingly. The registration deadline for the meeting is JANUARY 16, 2009.

The deadline for title and abstract submission is JANUARY 9, 2009
